AUDITION INFORMATION

Please come any time during the audition dates and times. Auditions will last about 30 minutes. There will be cold readings from the script. No prepared material is required. All roles are volunteer and unpaid.

*Bring your calendars and be prepared to note any rehearsal conflicts from the information below.

REHEARSAL INFORMATION

These will generally be Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 - 8:30pm and Saturdays, 3 - 4:30pm.  Our first read through/parent meeting will be Saturday August 22 at 7 - 8:30pm  ​

NO REHEARSAL on September 5, October 10 & 13.

 

No Absences allowed during tech rehearsals/performances, September 29- October 25.

CASTING INFORMATION

NOTE:  Actors are required to be ages 11-18. (Students in 6th - 12th grade.)  A total of 12+ actors are needed.  Several male/female characters and characters may be doubled.

AVAILABLE ROLES

Mrs. Whatsit - One of the three mysterious guides. She appears to be an eccentric old woman but is actually a powerful celestial being. 

Mrs. Who - Another of the three guides. Mrs. Who often speaks by quoting famous writers, philosophers, and scientists. 

Mrs. Which - The most powerful and mysterious of the three guides. 

Meg - A 13-year-old girl who is intelligent but insecure. She struggles with self-confidence, has a quick temper, and feels like she doesn't fit in at school. 

Charles Wallace - Meg's younger brother. Although very young, Charles Wallace is extremely gifted and wise. 

Calvin - A popular high school student who joins Meg and Charles Wallace on their adventure.
