Come see what’s in the On Stage Christmas stocking with this fast, funny, and highly theatrical reimagining of one of the most beloved holiday stories ever told. All of the traditional elements of Dickens’s A Christmas Carol are intact—including the iconic ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future—but with a comic local twist. Audiences of all ages will cheer Ebenezer Scrooge’s rediscovery of the Christmas spirit in this riotous Dickens mash-up filled with music and laughter—all set in “snowy” Monroe, Georgia!
AUDITION INFORMATION
Please come any time during the audition dates and times. Auditions will last about 30 minutes. No prepared material is required, but there will be cold readings from the script. All roles are volunteer and unpaid.
*Bring your calendars and be prepared to note any rehearsal conflicts from the information below.

REHEARSALS
Our first read through/parent meeting will be Tuesday, September 16 at 7pm and rehearsals beginning Thursday, September 18. These will generally be Tuesday and Thursdays evenings from 7-9pm (except for a few Wednesday rehearsals), and Saturdays from 2-5pm.

*NO absences allowed during tech weeks (November 17-22 & Dec 1-5) and during performances. A more specific rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions.

REHEARSAL DATES
September 16, 18 & 30.
October 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 22, 28 & 30.
November 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13 & 15.
Tech weeks (No absences) November 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and December 1, 2, 3 & 4.
*There will NOT be rehearsals the week of Thanksgiving (November 23-30).

CASTING INFORMATION
Actors are required to be ages 12 & up. All character’s ages below are a suggestion, and can be adapted to suit available actors. Up to 10+ actors are needed.
NOTE: Generally, the "Ebenezer Scrooge's Big [Your Town Here] Christmas Show!" plays are designed to be performed by a small cast of actors, typically 5 to 6, who play multiple roles. We MAY add more actors and divide the character parts up to make more opportunities and fun!
