On Stage COVID-19 Summer Workshop Procedures
On Stage will follow these important recommendations from the Georgia Department of Public Health:
Actor’s will be REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE MASK properly covering their nose and mouth during the entire workshop and have their temperature checked at the door as they enter each day. Hand sanitizer stations will be available. Workshops are closed to family and friends.
Daily, PRIOR to sending your child to the workshop, check them for COVID-19 symptoms, using the following checklist:
□ Fever (100.4° or higher) or chills
□ Headache
□ Cough
□ New loss of taste or smell
□ Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
□ Sore throat
□ Fatigue
□ Congestion or runny nose
□ Muscle or body aches
□ Nausea or vomiting
If your child develops COVID-19 symptoms, keep them home from the workshop, and contact your child’s healthcare provider as soon as possible. The Department of Public Health recommends that laboratory testing be done on all suspected COVID-19 cases.
Actors must stay home, if they or a family member is getting COVID-19 tested/waiting for test results until the test results are received.
Alert On Stage staff IMMEDIATELY if your child develops COVID-19 symptoms OR has direct contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case. (Close contact is defined as within 6 feet for 15 minutes with or without a mask or face covering.)
Talk to your child about COVID-19 and how to prevent the spread of illness. Remind him or her to wear a mask or face covering properly, with nose and mouth covered; wash hands frequently; and maintain distance from others whenever possible. Again, the use of masks is required at our workshops.
On Stage will continue to work with local health officials to monitor the COVID-19 situation in our community and cases that affect us. Thank you for your continued support of On Stage during this pandemic and for working with us to keep our actors and staff as safe as possible.
No full or partial refunds will be issued after the first workshop day.
